Frequently Asked Questions

The initial consultation and most 1:1 sessions happen at your home. Depending on the training needs, we could also meet in local parks or other public areas.
The consultation is our first session together. It will mostly involve a discussion that will help me understand your dog’s environment and what could be causing their behaviour. We will discuss management strategies and a training plan. It may include some practical training as well.
One-off sessions are only available for those clients that have completed a package. New clients are encouraged to purchase a package because it gives me time to get to know you and your dog and develop an effective training plan.
If you are unsure wether you need to see a behaviourist, book a free Discovery Call with me and I will be able to guide you on what option is best for your dog. I am adamant about ensuring you and your dog get appropriate training and advice and will always refer to behaviourists registered with the ABTC or APBC.
The Taster Training Guide is a document that includes useful information about positive training, dog body language, enrichment and more. This is to give you an idea of what kind of information I offer and how I present it. A Custom Training Guide is a personalised rundown of what we covered in your consultation or training session, plus other useful tips. All Training Guides can include recommendations, videos, diagrams and more, so it’s not just a scary looking text document! I try and make it
Online support gives you the opportunity to get in touch and ask questions between your sessions. This can be via WhatsApp or text, email, or a brief phone call. I always respond within 1 working day unless otherwise stated and I am not always available for immediate responses. I love to see any videos of your training or issues that you are facing, so don’t be afraid to get the camera out!
