About

Kaitlin is a member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT), a registered Animal Training Instructor (ATI) with the Animal Behaviour and Training Council (ABTC) and a Certified Trick Dog Instructor (CTDI). She is also a Tutor at Puppy School UK and graduate of Sarah Whitehead's ThinkDog certification course. Committed to providing effective, ethical, and science-based solutions for her clients, Kaitlin dedicates much of her time to continuing her education in positive reinforcement training by attending courses and keeping current on industry literature. Before finding dog training she was involved in the theatre and film industry, so is combining both passions and training dogs for stage and screen, as well as specialising in trick training for pet dogs and assistance dogs. Kaitlin is a volunteer trainer with DogAID where she helps companion dogs become registered assistance dogs. She recently appeared with Freya the Australian Shepherd in the 2023 Royal Institution Christmas Lectures on BBC4.
Kaitlin is fully insured through Pet Business Insurance.
